Castle Trust Bank renews support for Destination Basingstoke

Castle Trust Bank is proud to renew its Core Sponsor support for Destination Basingstoke, strengthening our commitment to the local community and the people who make Basingstoke and Deane a great place to live and work.

We’ve been part of Basingstoke’s story since we opened our offices on Basing View in 2012. Our partnership with Destination Basingstoke (DB) began in 2022 and has delivered real benefits for local businesses, charities and community groups. By renewing our sponsorship for another three years, we’re investing in the future of our town and its people.

DB is a not-for-profit organisation that celebrates the best of Basingstoke and Deane. It brings together businesses, community groups and charities, and delivers high-profile events that make our area greener, happier and more connected. In February 2024, DB launched the Destination Basingstoke Ambassador Community, which is now the largest business-member organisation in the borough, with more than 120 members.

We’re proud to support Destination Basingstoke’s events and initiatives, including the A Place to be Proud of Awards, which marked its 22nd anniversary this year. These awards shine a light on the unsung heroes who make a difference in our community. Our team is always delighted to celebrate those who go above and beyond.

Caroline Baker, Chief Compliance Officer at Castle Trust Bank, said:
We’re delighted to renew our core sponsorship of Destination Basingstoke for another three years. The support Destination Basingstoke gives to businesses, and the wider community is admirable. We look forward to playing an active role in supporting DB’s continued growth and impact.

Jonathan Pender, Chair of DB, added:
We are grateful for Castle Trust Bank’s ongoing support as a Core Sponsor. It’s a significant vote of confidence in the partnership and the work that Destination Basingstoke does. Team Destination Basingstoke looks forward to working with the employees at this award-winning, community-focused Basingstoke bank.

Our renewed sponsorship is about more than funding. It’s about being present, getting involved, and helping to build a community we can all be proud of. Whether it’s supporting events, celebrating achievements, or connecting people, Castle Trust Bank is committed to making a positive impact.
